Have you ever wanted to finish your own quilt instead of sending it out to a quilter? Have you always been fascinated by Longarm machines and wanted to try your hand at it? Peak to Prairie Quilting is now offering you the opportunity to do just that! Come rent time on our non computerized Gammill Classic with stitch regulator! Here’s everything you need to know to get started with our Longarm Machine Rental Program:
- All renters must attend a Basic Long Arm Rental Class. This class will be a 2.5 hour class at a cost of $45. This will teach you the basics of how to load a quilt, run the machine, and set up a panto. Additional classes are available for techniques such as ruler work and free motion quilting.
- Minimum rental of 2 hours is required to book.
- Machine rental is $15/per hour
- Packaged hours are available! Buy 10 hours @ $12/hour.
- You will be required to either purchase thread from me or provide an approved long arm thread. Thread fees are $2/bobbin. This covers the cost of both the top and bottom thread.
- You will have access to any of the pantographs or books in stock to use free of charge.
- You will be granted access to other tools, such as rulers and base plates free of charge at my discretion. This will be based on your ability.
- I will be available during the your session for quilting assistance and trouble shooting. I am happy to help! But you will be expected to be confident enough to work on your own for the majority of the time. Design lessons are also available but not during rental time.
